This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Backend Java Engineer who is enthusiastic to join our partner company MEONDI GmbH on a remote basis. 

MEONDI GmbH with its headquarter in Stuttgart, Germany, offers services in strategy and planning, agile software development, and organizational growth. MEONDI GmbH helps clients navigate through innovation and agile product development processes by integrating digital technologies and fostering an agile mindset. They also provide training and coaching through the MEONDI Academy to enhance digital skills and leadership capabilities.

You will be a part to optimize company processes, develop and maintain existing software systems and integrate according to the company’s flow and internal policy. more likely your tasks will include:

• Ensure the smooth operation of the existing Java monolith backend.
• Implement new features and enhancements as required by product management.
• Work closely with a core team of three developers and coordinate with nearshore developers.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and handovers with additional developers involved in the project.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer or engineer.
• Skills in using Java and Spring Boot  on an expert level.
• Experience with synchronous and asynchronous integration technologies (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Kafka).
• Experience with Azure Services:

• Kubernetes Services
  

• Service Farbic
  

• Azure Database for PostgresSQL
  

• IoT Hub
  

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills in English (B2 level).
