Distribution company „BMS“ announces a vacancy for the position of Head of Delivery Service.
The company „BMS“ has been operating in the Georgian market since 2002 and is one of the fastest growing distribution and marketing companies in the country, which distributes premium brands: Frosch, Vileda, Basso, Wilkinson Sword, Reggia, OE, Cotoneve, Emsal, Dr. Beckmann and others.
Workplace: Tbilisi, Avchala, Gr.Khantadze N2.
Working hours: Monday - Saturday, 09:00 – 18:30. Break: 1 hour per day.
Days off: Two days a week. Sunday - Monday.
Salary: 2500 GEL + health insurance
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Planning of the delivery process in coordination with the Head of Logistics Department;
- Development of a schedule for timely delivery of products to retail outlets, according to a predetermined route;
- Organization of product sorting by outlets and distribution to the appropriate addresses;
- In case of unplanned orders, planning of the delivery process in coordination with the Sales Department, and control over its implementation;
- Complete execution of documentation intended for delivery;
- Receiving the amount from the driver-expeditor at the end of the day, checking it and transferring the received amount to the accounting department;
- Control over the process of returning products from retail outlets;
- Assessment of the quality of work of subordinate employees, constant monitoring of their implementation of procedures and guidelines;
- Management of unforeseen circumstances and making necessary decisions to ensure the smooth delivery process.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of work experience in the relevant field;
- At least 1 year of experience in a managerial position;
- Higher or professional education in transport logistics;
- Knowledge of office programs, especially MS Excel;
- Driving license (category B)
