Scope:
A Bakery Cook is responsible for preparing pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, breakfast pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and hotel standards.
- Ensure high quality, consistency, and freshness in all baked items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bakery workstation following hygiene and food safety guidelines.
- Assist with dough preparation, proofing, shaping, and baking daily.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with receiving and proper storage of bakery supplies.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operations and special events.
- Vocational education in the field of bakery or culinary arts (will be considered an advantage);
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a similar bakery position;
- Advanced knowledge of traditional bread and pastry baking techniques;
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for baking;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
