Gudauri Lodge is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Waiter/Waitress.
Location: Gudauri
Reports to: F&B Manager/F&B Service Manager
Compensation and Benefits:
- Company offers competitive salary. Living and meal will be provided
Position summary:
- Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving guests, provide detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bills.
Main duties:
- Greet and escort guests to their tables
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Inform customers about the day`s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Check customer satisfaction throughout the meal
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- To train new associates on F&B product knowledge & Up Sale skills to create excellent service performance
Requirements:
- Fluent English is a must; additional languages are considered as a plus;
- Work experience in related field is considered as a plus
- Ability to work in teams
- High sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, smart, positive and energetic
