ROOMS KOKHTA is announcing a vacancy for the position of Commis Chef

Main Responsibilities:

Assist the Chef and Junior Sous Chef;
Source all necessary ingredients for the preparation of dishes;
Prepare the “mise en place”;
Carry out tasks as assigned by the Chef de Cuisine;
Execute all orders to the highest possible standard;
Ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, in conjunction with other kitchen staff;
Monitor kitchen equipment and machinery;
Raise and action purchase orders for stock items;

Required Skills:

Experience in a similar role is an advantage;
Professional qualification in Beverage and Food is an advantage;
Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
Sense of responsibility;
Ability to work in a team.
