Organization of Persons with Disabilities “Parents’ Support” announces a competition for the position of Special Educator for the 18+ Day Center.

Working hours cover five working days a week from 10:00 to 16:00.

Remuneration according to qualification, with a prospect of growth!

Information about the organization: “Parents’ Support” is a non-governmental organization.

The mission of the organization is: to promote social integration-inclusion of persons with various disabilities, to ensure equal opportunities for them, to advocate for the rights of them and their family members.

Position title: Special Educator of the 18+ Day Center (with a prospect of professional growth)

Main functional responsibilities:

Individual and group work with PWD beneficiaries;
Development and implementation of an individual development plan together with members of the interdisciplinary team;
Promoting the development of skills necessary for independent living;
Compliance with the internal regulations and standards of the organization and the Day Center;

Qualification requirements:

Higher education in a field related to PWD issues, psychology, occupational therapy, social work, special pedagogy or related specialties;
Experience of working with PWDs (internships and practical training courses are considered as experience);
Knowledge of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
