General Requirements:
- Collaborates with the Outlet Sous Chef to ensure exceptional sushi and sashimi preparation, reflecting creativity and passion.
- Assists in overseeing all aspects of Asian cuisine, adhering to menu guidelines.
- Develops innovative sushi concepts that highlight the freshest ingredients and seasonal flavors while preserving authenticity and tradition.
- Mentors colleagues to maintain high standards of production and consistency in the outlet.
- Partners with the Outlet Chef and culinary team to create cohesive menus that seamlessly integrate sushi offerings with other culinary specialties.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Good knowledge of food cost, inventory management and purchasing.
- Ability to handle the pressure and ensure pragmatic direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen.
- Good HACCP knowledge.
Skills:
- Foreign Languages: English.
- Related work experience in an International Environment and Hospitality Industry (is a preference).
- Possesses experience in a high-volume resort environment, preferably within a luxury hotel setting.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and creating memorable experiences for guests
