We are growing our Batumi team and are looking for a motivated and client-orientedCashier Operatorto join us on the front line. This is a hands-on, face-to-face customer service role at the heart of our daily operations; you will be the first point of contact for our clients, processing crypto and cash transactions while delivering a professional and trustworthy service experience. Location: Batumi, Georgia
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Cash Operations
Greet and assist clients in person at the Stellex Batumi office
Process cryptocurrency buy and sell transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash operations including receiving, counting and issuing funds in compliance with internal procedures
Verify client identity documents and ensure KYC/AML procedures are followed at every transaction
Provide clear and professional guidance to clients on Stellex products, exchange rates, and transaction processes
Resolve routine client queries on the spot and escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager
Operational & Compliance Duties
Maintain accurate transaction records and end-of-day cash reconciliation reports
Adhere strictly to all internal controls, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
Monitor for and report any suspicious transactions in line with AML/CFT policies
Keep the workspace organised, professional, and audit-ready at all times
Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure seamless branch operations
Requirements:
Experience (Essential)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a cashier, teller or client-facing operator in a bank, financial institution, or cryptocurrency exchange
Demonstrated experience handling cash transactions and working directly with clients in a regulated environment
Solid understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures
Skills & Personal Qualities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling and documentation
Confident, professional, and friendly communication style in face-to-face client interactions
Honest, reliable, and discreet; able to handle sensitive financial information responsibly
Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods
Good numerical skills and comfort working with financial data and systems
Education & Language
Background in finance, economics, or business is an advantage
Fluent in Georgian; working knowledge of Russian and/or English is a must
Familiarity with cryptocurrency basics and digital asset concepts is highly desirable
